MOTN 2022

At the Mother of the Nation (MOTN) festival 2023, Kommon.io designed and delivered a groundbreaking immersive VR gaming experience in Abu Dhabi. In partnership with Linkviva and Brag, we created two e-sport arenas featuring Versus, a captivating virtual laser tag game, captivating over 5000 guests during the 20-day festival.

The experience

Each of our custom-built arenas allowed six players to simultaneously immerse themselves in the high-octane world of Versus. With 10-minute sessions, guests enjoyed intense, interactive gameplay without any heavy backpacks, thanks to our seamless integration of HTC Focus 3 headsets and spatial geomapping technology.

Technical installation

Our technical setup featured 14 HTC Focus 3 headsets and two servers, ensuring smooth gameplay for all participants. We managed the technology, trained local staff, and implemented operational systems to handle guest flow, resulting in a streamlined experience that was a top attraction throughout the festival.
